1. General Provisions

1.1 This document (“Terms and Conditions”) governs the relationship between CYBERZENITH DYNAMICS S.R.L., a limited liability company headquartered in Timișoara, Str. Vasile Alecsandri, Nr. 3, Floor 2, Apartment 8, Timiș County, Romania, registered with the Trade Registry under number J2024001088357, VAT n. RO49775719 (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”, “REMEDIO”, “we”, or “us”), and the individuals who use (“Users”) the website www.remedio-app.com and/or the REMEDIO mobile application, available for smartphones and tablets via official app stores (Google Play, App Store, etc.), and any services offered by the Company through the application (collectively referred to as the “Services”).

1.2 Access to and use of the REMEDIO App, its website, and all related services are subject to these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and the Cookie Policy, which form an integral part of this Agreement.

1.3 By creating an account and using REMEDIO, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and confirm that you have read and accepted the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree with any provision herein, you must not use the website, the application, or the services.

2. Purpose and Services

2.1 REMEDIO is an ethical and social tool designed to help users organize and manage their medications and household products responsibly, reducing waste, preventing unnecessary purchases, and improving safety in home-based therapies.

2.2 The app’s purpose is strictly organizational and informative. It does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or therapeutic instructions, and must not replace professional medical consultation.

2.3 The REMEDIO platform is intended for:

Families wishing to track medicines, supplements, cosmetics, and foods to reduce waste;
Caregivers or healthcare professionals assisting elderly or dependent persons;
Individuals managing or monitoring relatives’ medication remotely;
Users managing complex therapy regimens.

2.4 The REMEDIO ecosystem includes the mobile application and its associated websites and subdomains.

3. User Account, Password, and Responsibilities

3.1 Users may create an account only if they are at least 16 years old. Persons under this age are not permitted to access or use REMEDIO.

3.2 To register, Users must complete the “Sign Up” form in the application and provide accurate, complete, and truthful information.

3.3 REMEDIO provides password-protected access to each User Account. Passwords are securely hashed using scrypt password hashing, and communications occur exclusively over HTTPS.

3.4 Through REMEDIO, Users can:

Create and organize lists of products and categories, with monitoring of expiration dates, stock levels, and usage history;
Manage up to two family or loved-one profiles with shared monitoring and real-time notification features;
Record and monitor vital parameters through the integrated Health Tracker, such as blood pressure, blood glucose, weight, body temperature, oxygen saturation (SpO2), and heart rate, with optional synchronization with Apple HealthKit and Google Health Connect;
Manage private medical notes, symptoms, treatments, and appointments through the Medical Diary, with the ability to export selected entries in formats compatible with calendars (Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook);
Securely store all sensitive health and diary-related data through end-to-end encryption (AES-256-GCM), ensuring that even REMEDIO cannot access or decrypt the user’s content.

3.5 REMEDIO may send push notifications for reminders and alerts as part of its core functionality.

3.6 Users may delete their accounts at any time through the in-app option or by contacting dpo@remedio-app.com. All associated data will be deleted accordingly, as outlined in the Data Retention Policy.

3.7 Inactive accounts are automatically deleted after two (2) years of inactivity, including all stored data.

3.8 Users are responsible for:

Maintaining accurate registration details and updating them within 30 days of any changes;
Keeping login credentials confidential;
Immediately reporting any unauthorized access to reportfraud@remedio-app.com.

3.9 REMEDIO is not responsible for the accuracy or content of user-submitted data (e.g., product information) and cannot verify their validity.

4. Subscriptions, Payments, and Transactions

The Free Plan offers management for up to 20 products with:

barcode/package photo scanning for recognition and automatic data entry;
expiration monitoring with daily alerts through the notification system;
intake reminder management for yourself through the notification system;
manual dose consumption with detailed usage history exportable via PDF;
customized product lists and categories;
AES-256-GCM end-to-end encryption;
recovery system with a 24-word key to recover encrypted data.

In addition, we offer you the OPTIONAL possibility to purchase one product, called “Premium Gold”, which lasts 30 days with advance and recurring payment, and which will include all the features of the free plan plus the following features:

unlimited product quantity entry;
Family and caregiver mode for coordination and monitoring of therapies for up to 2 family members or elderly people, with secure sharing via Magic Link that guarantees access to a simplified interface without sharing passwords and without the need for registration;
Health Tracker for monitoring vital parameters such as blood pressure, blood glucose, weight, body temperature, oxygen saturation (SpO2), heart rate, with AES-256-GCM end-to-end encryption, optional integration with Apple HealthKit and Google Health Connect, interactive graphical display, and professional PDF export;
Private Medical Diary with end-to-end encryption to record health notes, symptoms, medicines, appointments, laboratory results, full-text search, and reminder export to calendar (Google Calendar/Apple Calendar/Outlook).

The amount of Premium Gold will be available for review before purchase and may be subject to change.

The purchase process takes place exclusively through Google or Apple in-app purchase services.

Any adjustments or refunds will follow the provisions offered by the respective payment providers and are governed by local tax regulations.

5. Account and Data Security

5.1 User accounts are protected with scrypt password hashing and TLS-encrypted (HTTPS) communications.

5.2 REMEDIO will never request passwords via unsolicited messages, calls, or emails.

5.3 Users should adopt additional device protections (PIN, password, biometric) on their smartphones or tablets.

5.4 Users are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials and for all activities under their accounts.

5.5 REMEDIO assumes no liability for loss or damage caused by failure to protect login data or unauthorized access due to user negligence.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 The REMEDIO app, website, content, designs, and all related materials (including articles, icons, UI designs, and documentation) are the intellectual property of CYBERZENITH DYNAMICS S.R.L. and its collaborators.

6.2 Users may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or publicly display any content from REMEDIO without prior written authorization.

6.3 Use of REMEDIO content is permitted solely for personal or organizational purposes consistent with the app’s intent.

6.4 The following actions are strictly prohibited without prior written consent from REMEDIO:

Reproducing or storing content on other websites or servers;
Republishing, modifying, or redistributing any portion of REMEDIO content;
Removing copyright or watermark identifiers.

6.5 Automated access methods (bots, crawlers, scrapers, etc.) or exploitative manipulation of the platform are strictly forbidden.

7. Personal Data Protection

7.1 The Company handles all personal data in accordance with applicable laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

7.2 Full details regarding data collection, retention, encryption, and user rights are provided in the Privacy Policy and the Data Retention Policy.

7.3 By using REMEDIO, Users acknowledge and agree to the terms of data processing described in the Data Processing Agreement, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

8. Modifications, Restrictions, and Suspension

8.1 REMEDIO reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to limit or terminate User access to the app in cases of:

Violation of legal provisions;
Breach of these Terms;
Suspicious, abusive, or fraudulent activity.

8.2 Users are fully responsible for any content they publish in the app and must not:

Distribute harmful software or malicious code;
Harvest or misuse other users’ personal data;
Post misleading or unlawful material.

8.3 REMEDIO may suspend or terminate services, in whole or in part, without prior notice. Paid service users acknowledge that no partial refunds will be issued for suspension periods due to violations of these Terms.

9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

9.1 REMEDIO strives to maintain accuracy and reliability but does not guarantee that all information or services provided are error-free, complete, or continuously available.

9.2 The Company is not liable for any direct or indirect damages, including data loss, business interruption, or financial loss resulting from the use or inability to use the application.

9.3 REMEDIO does not warrant that the platform, servers, or communications are free of viruses or other harmful components.

9.4 By accepting these Terms, Users agree to indemnify and hold REMEDIO harmless against any claims, losses, or damages arising from breach of these Terms.

10. Force Majeure

REMEDIO and its affiliates shall not be held liable for delays, interruptions, or failures caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to network outages, equipment malfunction, data corruption, strikes, natural disasters, or cyberattacks.

11. Amendments to These Terms

11.1 REMEDIO reserves the right to periodically update these Terms and Conditions to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes.

11.2 Users will be notified of such changes and must explicitly accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the Service.

11.3 Refusal to accept the updated Terms will result in termination of the User’s account and access to the REMEDIO platform.

12. Advertising and Third-Party Content

12.1 Some REMEDIO sections may contain third-party content or advertisements.

12.2 REMEDIO is not responsible for third-party content accuracy or for external pages linked within the platform.

13. Notices

All notices to REMEDIO must be sent in writing via email to info@remedio-app.com or by postal mail to the Company’s registered office.
Unless otherwise specified, responses will be sent to the User’s registered contact details and considered duly received.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any disputes arising therefrom shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Romanian law.
Any dispute shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Timișoara, Romania.
